Police name house fire victim

Police have named the elderly woman who died in a house fire early in Auckland on Saturday morning.

She was 75-year-old Alfreda Allen.

There were apparently no smoke alarms in the Ballarat Street, Ellerslie, house.

The fire is not being treated as suspicious.
