Police looking for crotch grabber

Hastings police are looking for a teenage boy who grabbed the groin of a woman in the street and then ran off.

The incident happened about 4pm yesterday in Southampton Street and police wanted to speak to anyone who might have seen the boy.

The woman, in her 20s, was walking alone and was not injured but was extremely upset by what happened, Detective Stuart Biggs said.

The boy was described as Maori and about 13 years old, about 152cm tall and skinny. He was in a school uniform of pale blue shirt, blue shorts and roman sandals. He also had a dark blue back-pack with a white stripe.
