Police look for missing man, 102

Police are searching for a 102-year-old man who has gone missing from his Manukau City home this afternoon.

Harold Cedric Clark went missing from his David Avenue, Hillpark, home about 2pm, Inspector Gavin MacDonald, of the police communications centre, said.

He said Mr Clark was mentally and physically well, and looked about 80 years old.

Mr Clark is 1.77m tall, of thin build, with short straight grey hair, clean shaven and wearing brown rimmed glasses, a dark checked shirt, dark pants and brown shoes. He is possibly carrying a brown walking stick.

"It is very unusual for him to leave his home address," said Mr MacDonald, who made a plea for anyone seeing Mr Clark to tell police as soon as possible.
