Police have launched a homicide investigation after a woman was found dead in a Dunedin home last night.
Vicki Lee Warington, 48, was found dead at the home on Brighton Rd, Waldronville by police.
A 22-year-old man has been arrested and is receiving medical treatment for a number of injuries.
Another man found outside the property is also being treated for his injuries. They are not believed to be life-threatening.
About 20 investigators and other police staff, specialist teams, including ESR, are investigating the death.
A scene examination will take place today.
