KEY POINTS:
Police are investigating 16 suspicious letters thought to contain 1080 poison that were sent to local authorities, central government and private businesses last month.
Detective Senior Sergeant Paul Borell, of Wellington CIB, said four letters were sent to Greymouth and West Coast addresses in the last couple of days.
"They appear to be similar to four received in Wellington and eight in the Nelson area last week. Inquiries, including forensic examinations are continuing."
In Wellington, the Ministry of Health in Molesworth St, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry in Pastoral House and the Reserve Bank, both on The Terrace, and Parliament all received letters.
