Police are investigating a fire which gutted a West Coast house over the weekend.
The Fire Service was called to the Monro Street, Cobden address, just north of Greymouth, shortly after 11pm on Saturday.
The house was extensively damaged but unoccupied at the time.
Police would like to hear from anyone saw anything suspicous in the area between 10pm and 11.30pm, as well as anyone who noticed any nuisance-type fires in recent weeks that may have not been reported.
