Police investigate Wellington Airport bomb scare

Police are investigating a bomb scare at Wellington Airport.

The airport has not been evacuated, but a team of police, a forensic officer, and bomb dogs are on the scene.

A police spokesperson says a non-specific call was received by a member of the public around 11am.

No evidence of a bomb has been found at this stage.

A risk assessment was undertaken by police on arrival and the decision was made not to evacuate the airport.
