Police are investigating an armed robbery after a Feilding bar was held up at knife-point on the weekend.
The offender, armed with a knife and steel bar, entered The Drovers Return Bar at about 10.40am on Saturday and demanded money, Detective Natasha Allan of Feilding CIB said.
After one of the two female staff on duty handed over cash, the offender fled from the scene and was last seen running across Bowen Street towards an alleyway which led to Hobson Street, Ms Allan said.
Police said they wanted to speak to anyone who saw a person dressed in black acting suspiciously around the time of the robbery.
In particular they wanted to speak with a woman who spoke with St Johns Ambulance staff after seeing a person running from the scene.
