Save Selwyn Huts, where the body of a 79-year-old resident was found yesterday, is a popular fishing spot.
The body of an elderly man has been found in a small Canterbury fishing community.
The 79-year-old's body was found at a house at Selwyn Huts, near the mouth of the Selwyn River, at around 5pm yesterday by a member of the public.
