KEY POINTS:
Horowhenua police are investigating the death of a man after he and two others fell unconscious in a Levin hotel overnight.
Police say the only connection between the three was that they were all at the same hotel.
All three were hospitalised.
Thirty-five-year-old Joshua James Waho died in Palmerston North Hospital, but police say they are waiting on toxicology results to confirm the cause of his death.
They are, however, saying it wasn't food poisoning.
The other two men, also in their thirties, have been discharged from hospital.
