Police are investigating reports of a fight in which one person was reported to have a machete or a knife.
Police are at the scene on Auckland's Swanson St this morning, and their photographers have been taking images inside a Wilsons' carpark nearby.
One officer at the scene said it was a fight that "got out of hand.''
Inspector Matt Rogers said police received multiple 111 emergency calls at about 4.30am.
He said one caller reported seeing a man with a knife and another reported seeing a machete.
