Police are investigating reports that a 17-year-old high school student was raped in Auckland's Myers Park.
A police spokesman said the Northland girl, who was in Auckland for the weekend, had been drinking with a male friend, who left the park in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The girl was approached by a man who she said had raped her, forced her to perform oral sex on him, and then raped her again. The woman said her attacker was in his early 20s, wearing a white T-shirt, a black hooded sweatshirt and a distinctive grey and black "bucket hat". He had a thin moustache and beard.
