Police investigate after teenager stabbed in Gisborne

A teenager was stabbed in Gisborne last night.

A 19-year-old man was taken to hospital from a property in Outer Kaiti around 6.55pm.

Police said St John Ambulance attended to the injured victim who had cuts from what appeared to be stab wounds. His injuries were not serious.

An investigation was under way.
