A person has been found dead at a Dunedin property this evening.
At 5.20pm, police were called to a Tainui Rd property, Inspector Craig Brown said.
He confirmed they were treating the death as unexplained. They are speaking to one person as a part of their investigations into the death, and are not seeking anyone else.
There will be an increased police presence in the area overnight, Brown said.
