KEY POINTS:
Police have identified a body found in a Bay of Plenty river on Sunday.
It was that of Kawerau youth 16-year-old Jessie James Morrison, who was last seen on the evening of October 31.
His submerged body was discovered in the Tarawera River in Kawerau, 60km northeast of Rotorua, on Sunday by a group of teenagers out for a swim.
A post-mortem examination found nothing suspicious about his death, although police are still establishing the circumstances.
