Police are looking for two men who allegedly punched and kicked 21-year-old man in Christchurch on Sunday morning.
Police said the Asian man was set upon by a "chubby" Caucasian man and a taller "half caste looking" man, both aged around 21, on the corner or Puriri and Totara streets in Riccarton around 12.45am.
Acting Detective Sergeant Freeman said the victim appeared to have been punched, fallen to the ground and kicked then by the two men.
He is now recovering at home with his family.
