Police have been on the hunt overnight for three men, thought to be involved in a violent robbery in Hamilton.
The Peachgrove Superette on East Street was held up at 6pm yesterday.
It is believed the trio used a hammer and a knife, demanding cigarettes.
They are believed to be Maori, aged around 19 years, with one of them wearing a fluorescent vest.
The other two are said to have been wearing dark jackets.
