Canberra police have issued an arrest warrant for the son of murdered New Zealand-born woman Nanette Porritt.
Mrs Porritt, known as Sandy, was found dead in her Canberra home last December.
Her son, Glen, in his early 20s, failed to appear at a hearing last week for the inquest into her death. He has not been accused of her murder.
All members of the Porritt family were subpoenaed to appear at the directions hearing.
Police have not revealed how Mrs Porritt, a 50-year-old lab technician with science agency CSIRO, died.
