KEY POINTS:
Police are hunting a man who robbed the ANZ Bank in Taupo today and got away with an undisclosed sum of money.
Senior Sergeant Tony Jeurissen said the robbery happened about 1.45pm.
"The offender is a male Maori, 18 or 20 years of age,"
Mr Jeurissen said the man had tattoos on both arms and had thick black hair.
Police investigations were continuing, he said.
