Security guards were held up at gunpoint and robbed of cash at Glenfield on Auckland's North Shore this morning.
Inspector Matt Sillars from the police Northern Communications Centre in Auckland said the four Polynesian men robbed a cash van of money soon after 8am.
The security guards were slightly hurt.
"The offenders had firearms but no shots were fired," Mr Sillars said.
The robbers fled in a white van similar in appearance to a Toyota HiAce.
