Police are hunting an alleged passport fraudster after he fled his bail address nearly a month ago.
The Organised Financial Crime Agency of New Zealand (OFCANZ) is calling on the public for information as to the whereabouts of Cristian Dario Alcalde, a 42-year-old Iranian who was subject to electronically-monitored bail.
Alcalde is currently before the courts awaiting trial on charges involving the acquisition of two false New Zealand passports and immigration offences involving an additional stolen UK passport.
Alcalde was granted bail to a Henderson address but went missing on August 8.
He is known to use a number of aliases including the first names of Cristian or Bahram and a combination of surnames including Alcalde, Abbasi or Daneshiyan.
