Police are still looking for a man despite an arrest following a ram-raid on a Tauranga store in the wee hours of this morning.
Police were called to the ram-raid at the Fraser Cove Shopping Centre shortly after 2am.
"Two offenders had used a Subaru Forrester to gain entry to a store, taking a large amount of merchandise," a police statement said.
One of the offenders fled the scene in the Subaru Forrester, while the other left in a grey Mazda.
A 32-year-old man was arrested after the Mazda was spotted a short time later and will appear in the District Court at Tauranga later today.
He is facing charges of dangerous driving, burglary, unlawfully taking a motor vehicle and failing to stop.
Police are still trying to locate the other offender and his vehicle and said they would like to hear from anyone who may have seen a black Subaru Forrester in the Fraser St area around the time of the burglary.
Anyone with information that could assist police with their inquiries into the incident can phone Tauranga police on (07) 577 4300, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
