Police have apologised to two Dunedin men who were pulled over, handcuffed for 20 minutes and had guns pointed at their heads after being treated as suspects for an aggravated robbery.
The men were caught up in a police chase on Sunday night after an armed gunman robbed Pizza Hut on Hillside Rd for a second time in three weeks.
Their car was stopped after being seen in the vicinity of the robbery.
