KEY POINTS:
Thirty primary schoolchildren were treated to unexpected rides in police patrol cars when their school bus was involved in a minor crash with a truck at the Panmure roundabout yesterday afternoon.
None of the children were injured in the crash, although some were upset.
Because of delays in obtaining a replacement bus, it was decided to ferry the children to their homes in police cars.
