Police have concerns for the safety of a 19-year-old Nelson man whose disappearance on Sunday is "totally out of character".
Leo Lipp-Neighbours was last seen about 4am outside the Phat Club in central Nelson in an orange 1987 Toyota Corolla station wagon, registration number NQ7258.
He may be in the area around Nelson, including Golden Bay and the Nelson Lakes, and also has ties in Christchurch, Sergeant Blair Hall of Nelson police said.
"His disappearance is totally out of character."
Mr Lipp-Neighbours is described as a 1.85-metre tall Caucasian with light brown hair.
He was last seen wearing a yellow t-shirt with black and red writing on the front, blue jeans, and black leather shoes.
Police would like to talk to anyone who had contact with Mr Lipp-Neighbours on Saturday night, and anyone who may have seen him or the car.
