A teenage boy missing since just before midnight last night has been found “safe and well”, police say.
The 15-year-old, who has autism, hadn’t been seen since leaving his parents’ home in the north Auckland suburb of Omaha just before midnight.
“Police would like to thank those members of the public who provided information, which assisted in locating him.”
The teen left his parents home clad only in underpants and there had been fears for his wellbeing amid high winds and rain overnight, police said.
