Police are cracking down on drunken behaviour in Canterbury over the long weekend.
Sergeant Al Lawn says restricted opening hours for bars over Easter are not an excuse for irresponsible drinking at home.
Lawn explained he understands people want to enjoy a drink, but wants them to do it safely.
He also assured there will be plenty of police working in Canterbury to make sure people are safe and having a good time.
Drink driving will also be a focus for officers working on the roads.
