KEY POINTS:
Tauranga Police have begun investigating the possible murder of two people, but are refusing to say anything about it until tomorrow.
A short media statement was released today saying police will hold a media conference at 11am tomorrow "to outline details in relation to the commencement of a double murder investigation".
But they refused to give any more details about the case when approached today.
Detective Sergeant Darryl Brazier said they were not releasing details any earlier to media because "it's easier to do it in one hit".
