KEY POINTS:
A street and jogging track on the western banks of the Waikato River in Hamilton have been cordoned off, after a teenager told police she had been attacked.
Police said details were still unclear but initial reports indicated the 17-year-old was attacked near toilets on London St when and dragged down to the Kirikirioa Reserve.
The victim was being interviewed by police and anyone who saw anything was asked to call Hamilton police.
