Police searching for two Napier teen siblings who have been missing for over a week are investigating new information about their whereabouts.
Eastern District Police reported sister and brother Larelle and Rhyme missing from their Napier home on January 20 and say their loved ones are concerned for their welfare.
In a statement on Tuesday, a police spokesperson said they were now exploring information which suggested the pair could be with a family member.
“We continue to urge anyone who knows where the teenagers are to please let police know, so we can follow up to ensure they are safe,” the spokesperson said.
