KEY POINTS:
Police are continuing their investigations into the stabbing death of a 31-year-old man in Invercargill early yesterday.
Darnell Glen Leslie was found wounded when police were called to an address in Charles St, in the north of the city, about 1am.
Mr Leslie was taken to Southland Hospital where he died a short time later.
Senior Sergeant Olaf Jensen said a 26-year-old man, suffering injuries, was also found at the address and taken to hospital.
The man remained in hospital today following surgery and his condition was listed as not serious.
The cause of his injuries would form part of the investigation, he said.
Police were not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident and it would take a couple of days to complete their investigations, Mr Jensen said.
About 20 police investigators, including ESR staff, are working on the inquiry.
