A 13-year-old girl with an intellectual disability went missing in Hamilton overnight.
The girl was found to be missing from her Silkwood Lane home in Melville, about 7pm yesterday, northern police communications acting shift commander Senior Sergeant Chris Money said.
Although tall for her age she had an intellectual age of 8-years-old.
She had dark brown curly hair and was wearing multi-coloured pyjama pants with a heart pattern, and a pink hoodie with the word "Washington" on the front, Mr Money said.
She was known to enjoy going to the public library in Hamilton City and to Waikato Hospital.
