Police are concerned for the safety of a Christchurch teenage girl who has not been seen since Saturday.
Marie Davis, 15, was last seen when she was dropped off at her suburban Papanui home around 6pm.
She entered the house but there have been no sightings of her since, said Sergeant Stephen McDaniel, of Papanui police.
At the time she was wearing blue jeans, a purple short-sleeved top and a black jersey with green, yellow and pink horizontal stripes. She carried an army green canvas shoulder bag about 50cm by 40cm.
All of her friends have been contacted but no one has heard from her.
Her disappearance was out of character and police were concerned for her safety, Mr McDaniel said.
