Police are worried for the safety of a foreign tourist who has fled after getting a beating in Wanaka.
They believe he has substantial injuries and needs medical attention.
The man was seen being attacked an Albert Town street just after midday yesterday.
Witnesses say he took off in a campervan with a woman.
Two males, aged 17 and 20, have been arrested and a 15-year-old has been referred to Police Youth Aid.
