KEY POINTS:
Police have arrested a man following the death of a 61-year-old man at his Manurewa home this morning.
Police said the man died following a fight at a party at the house.
Counties Manukau Detective Senior Sergeant Sue Schwalger said a homicide investigation had been launched and an 18-year-old man who was at the party had been arrested and charged with assault.
Ms Schwalger said further charges were likely.
Police would not release the dead man's name until family had been advised.
