Police catch two who escaped from youth prison

Two 16-year-olds who escaped from a youth prison at Rollerston near Christchurch on Thursday were caught by police in Blenheim yesterday.

The pair were reported missing from Child Youth and Family's Te Puna Wai o Tuhinapo residence at about 9pm on Thursday.

A Child Youth and Family (CYF) spokeswoman said the two were picked up in Blenheim.
