Police are investigating after a police patrol car was set alight in Pukekohe overnight.
The car was parked in Princes Street, Pukekohe just after midnight while the officer conducted a foot patrol in the area.
When the crew returned to their car at about 12:20am it was on fire.
Police said there were indications that the fire was started deliberately.No one was injured but the car was extensively damaged.
