Police last night captured a man accused of escaping from a south Auckland courthouse.
Perry Bristow, 26, was found by police in an apartment block in Westwood Ho Rd in Kelston, about 11pm. He was arrested and charged with escaping custody.
He will appear in court today.
Police allege Bristow fled from Manukau District Court on November 3 with fellow prisoner Vincent Geros, 23, as they were being escorted by security guards from the cells to the courtroom.
Geros was recaptured at a North Shore address on November 9.
