Police from three areas of Otago were called out to a Cromwell address early this morning to what was believed to be an armed incident.
Officers from Queenstown, Alexandra and Cromwell attended a property on Leitrum St at 2.20am after an altercation which they believed involved a firearm.
Senior Sergeant Craig Brown said there was a group of intoxicated males at the address.
Police have now arrested a 25-year-old male for unlawfully presenting an air rifle and a 21-year-old male for wilful damage. An ambulance was called as a man injured his arm cutting it on a window and was treated at the local medical centre.
