Police arrest wanted man

Manukau Police have arrested a man they allege held up a woman security guard in Porirua.

Police allege Perry Ngawaka Bristow, 25, walked up behind the security guard outside Te Rauparaha Arena on March 9 and snatched a bag containing cash and cheques.

Detective Sergeant Wati Chaplow, of Mangere CIB, earlier said Bristow was a known South Auckland offender and information had been received that he may have returned to the area.
