Police have arrested a man for the burglary of a Red Cross centre in Nelson last month.
A 12-seater Transit van, emergency equipment, handheld radios and generators were among the items stolen from the centre on July 9.
The 41-year-old man, who has not been named, was located after several Police searches which located stolen items including a defibrillator machine.
He appeared in the Nelson District Court today charged with burglary.
The Transit van, which had a Red Cross logo on the side, was later found about 10km away.
