KEY POINTS:
Hamilton police have arrested a teenage boy for the murder of a man found dead in a central city courtyard last month.
Lance Kingi died from a head injury. He was seen lying in the courtyard by a member of the public sometime between 12.30 and 1.30 on the morning of the 22nd of September.
Police were not told until half past six that night.
The case featured on the TV crime show ';Police Ten-7'; last night.
Today, a 16 year-old has appeared in Hamilton Youth Court on charges of murder and assault with a weapon.
Detective Sergeant Keall is praising a number of youths who have helped police investigating the case, particularly those who often have mixed experiences with the police.
