A man captured on a security camera as he allegedly robbed a South Auckland bank has been arrested.
The 21-year-old man was due to appear in the Manukau District Court today on a robbery charge after the National Bank in Manukau was robbed on Monday.
The robber wore no disguise and escaped with a bundle of money after telling the teller he had a gun and his accomplice outside had a gun.
Police said the man was arrested after help from the public.
