Wellington district police have executed more than 40 search warrants and arrested 25 people in an operation targeting people dealing in drugs and stolen property.
Several other people are still being hunted.
The police raids were carried out in the past four days in Wellington City and the Hutt Valley, and police were assisted by the Customs Service.
At one address alone police found more than $100,000 worth of stolen property believed to have been swapped for drugs.
The arrested people face a raft of charges including dealing in drugs, burglary, theft, fraud, receiving, possession of offensive weapons and aggravated robbery.
