Police have arrested a 17-year-old male after a Hamilton dairy worker was attacked by two masked robbers with a machete.
Sandip Patel suffered a fractured skull and cuts to his hands and head after the attack last Tuesday.
Two offenders entered the Emm Jay Dairy in Hamilton East and attacked
Patel before taking off with the till and cigarettes.
They were also armed with an axe.
Sandip received stitches to the head at Waikato Hospital and was in a stable condition, his nephew said.
