North Shore Police are appealing for information on the whereabouts of a 15-year-old girl who has been reported missing from her home in Beachaven.
Sharn Joy Reid has not been home since Saturday 22 July and was last sighted by a member of the public in Mairangi Bay on Friday 28 July.
"We are keeping an open mind as to her whereabouts. The girl is relatively streetwise," said North Shore Police Youth Aid Officer Constable Scott Norris.
"While we have no immediate concerns for her safety, she is only 15-years-of -age. We certainly want to be assured of her well being so that she can return home," he said.
"The girl also went missing in May and on this occasion she was found by police in a popular Wellington bar talking to a group of new found friends. There is a possibility that she is again in the capital, or in a North Island location, including the North Shore," Constable Norris said.
Sharn is described as European, 160cm tall with short black hair and hazel eyes. Police said she had a fat lip with a cyst on it and was last seen wearing blue jeans, a red cardigan, purple tee-shirt and green sneakers.
