Police are appealing for witnesses to a Napier hit-and-run last week to come forward.
Police are continuing their investigation into the hit and run of a cyclist in Waterworth Avenue, Onekawa, last Friday morning.
Police have said there was an altercation between two men, after which a cyclist was hit by a car. The driver of the car immediately left the area.
On Saturday an arrest warrant was issued for Jamie Lesley Jones, 31, in relation to the incident.
The cyclist, Louis Keil, 49, of Napier, was transferred to Auckland earlier this week, having been in a critical condition in Hawke's Bay Hospital since Friday.
