Police appeal for sightings of stolen boat, 4WD

Police are appealing for sightings of a Nissan 4WD towing a 5.8 metre power boat after they were stolen from a Te Aroha property early today.

At 2.30am a grey Nissan Terrano, registration BSQ435, and a trailer carrying a 5.8m Fryan alloy power boat called Out There were stolen from the Te Aroha house.

Shortly after the 4WD was seen being driven at speed along State Highway 26 towards Morrinsville.

Police would like to hear from anybody who has seen the car or the boat it was towing.
