Police appeal for info on wanted Mob member

Police searching for a man wanted for assaulting a child in Hastings believe that he may be hiding in Porirua.

A warrant for the arrest of Robin Emery, 24, was issued by Hastings District Court after he breached bail conditions relating to charges of assault and ill-treatment of a four-year-old child.

Police said today Emery, a patched Mongrel Mob member, was thought to be in Porirua and appealed to anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact them.

Emery is described as Maori male, 173cm tall and overweight.
