A crowd of Wellingtonians has been thrilled by a pod of Orca circling the harbour this afternoon.
Four Orca have been spotted swimming close to shore in the Wellington harbour.
NZME photographer Mark Mitchell was one of around 50 people who stopped to watch them.
He says they swan in close formation right out to the point, clearly hunting stingray.
